Review of Rio Vista, California

An inviting mix of rural and suburban lifestyles
Star Rating - 3/18/2018
Known as “the Gateway to the Delta”, Rio Vista is located in the heart of the California Delta on the Sacramento River. The views along the wide river bring to mind the tales of Huck Finn and Tom Sawyer. The City is surrounded by over 1000 miles of waterway. It is the ideal location for fishing, water skiing and wind surfing as well as a being a thriving community for residential, farming and business activities. Rio Vista has an inviting mix of rural and suburban lifestyles and easy access to all of the urban amenities associated with two of the nation’s most dynamic metropolitan regions, San Francisco and Sacramento. Rio Vista is within an easy drive to the Napa Wine Country, Sierra ski resorts and Lake Tahoe.
The down town, historic district, restaurants and vintage homes give Rio Vista a unique feeling of the blend of history and a growing rural community. The active senior community of Trilogy has 3000 homes, golf course, tennis courts, bocce courts, gym, indoor and outdoor pools. Large club houses and parks provide a wonderful environment for all of the very active social clubs.
